SADARA and SATORP are among the largest facilities in the refining and petrochemicals industries that support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. As part of the inauguration ceremony of the two projects, Protec provided audio, video, lighting, rigging and robotics at the King Abdullah Cultural Centre, Al Jubail in Saudi Arabia.

Working on extremely tight schedules, Protec had to rush five 40ft trucks with an L-Acoustics Kara system for audio; KUKA LED video panels, disguise media servers; a comprehensive lighting rig of Clay Paky and ETC fixtures along with more than 400 Schnick Schnack units; over 100m of rigging; 6km of cabling and a Robotics system of 6 x KUKA Kr 240-2 and 2 x

KUKA Linear Track KL-1500-2 to Saudi Arabia, where in record time, we put it all together amidst various venue, logistics and time challenges. Protec’s experience and professionalism were put to the test and our quick and efficient response to every challenge, ensured the event was technically spectacular.

“Moment International, together with the entire team selected for the production remained focused and in high spirits throughout the project despite the issues or time constraints that we faced.
